V Boys Soccer

The boys varsity soccer team played Marionapolis and earned a 3-0 victory on Saturday 10/12/2022 in Thompson, CT.

The Wyverns were able to see the first two goals through in the first half. Both goals came from crosses and both headed in by Sam Cote ‘24. The first of which was crossed in off of a corner from Kaden Rodriguez ‘25 and the second assist came from Ardit Zhuta ‘24 from open play.
The third goal took place in the second half when Freshman Pratt Blair 26’ assisted a great ball to Aiden Butler ‘24 who took his initial shot off of a cross in the box. The shot was blocked by the keeper and fell back to Butler for a second shot in the penalty area where he capitalized on the goal. The Wyverns dominated possession throughout the game, controlled the ball and were able to keep a clean sheet from a great effort by every member of the team. The back line was able to minimize opportunities from the opposition and held them to only a single shot on the Wyverns net throughout the game.
