V Girls Soccer

The KO girls soccer team played hard and with confidence beating Loomis 1-0 in our Friday highlight game.

The Wyverns scored early in the first half off a great shot by Sophia Radmanovich ’24, assisted by Ella Sokale ’23. From then on our players fought hard to keep Loomis from scoring. Our two goalies Kyra Dunnirvine ’23 and Addisen Nicholson ’25 had 10 saves between them. Addisen had several key saves in the second half. Our back line of defenders, Caroline Gauvin ’27, Liv Stevens ’24, Ava Leshem ’24, Aashni Patel ’24 and Sam Azia ’23 played a great game holding off the Loomis players. Those defenders even stopped some goals themselves by stepping up and taking shots off their own bodies. In the midfield Liv Schaller ’25 and Julia Stepnowski ’28 played very strong games making it hard for the pelicans to transition to their attacking players. Georgia Louis ’24 and Ella kept the pressure on the Loomis defenders. It was a tremendous team effort by our Wyverns who came ready to play and showed all of us what they are truly capable of.
