Win 3-2
KO continued its streak with an exciting 5-game match on Hewett Day, beating Kent 3-2 (25-15, 16-25. 25-17. 24-26, 15-9). While the team was certainly energized by the many fans, it was once again serving that helped KO get ahead, go ahead, and/or stay ahead. Co-captain Julia Sohn ‘25, with 7 straight point, and Scarlett Bourgoin ‘ 27, with 8, served particularly well in the first set, giving KO an early 17-8 lead. In the third set, Bourgoin once again remained on the line with her consistent serving, in the fourth set, it was setter Delphine Lamattina ’27 who garnered the most service points (6), and in the final set, it was Sienna Dubois ’26 who started the team off with a quick 7-3 lead. Offensively, Danica Arwen De Dios ’27 was a powerful force at the outside hitter position, and Genesis Frimpong ’27 had a few effective tips in the middle. Defensively, it was Bourgoin and Sohn who worked hardest to successful pass the powerful serves from Kent.
