KO JVVB traveled to Miss Porters School on Friday for their Dig Pink/Parents Weekend celebration and lost 0-2 (22-25, 22-25).KO got off to a strong start with the powerful serving of Lidia Martinez Castro ‘ 27. KO’s serve receive was solid, and setter Racheal Segal, ’28 created some great offensive plays, mostly executed by Tara Mahoney’ 27. Porters was able to tie the score at 13- 13 and won the game off some strong serving that KO struggled to return effectively. KO took an early lead in the second set again off the Martinez-Castro serve but struggled to capitalize offensively. Mahoney was an offensive force with 8 kills between the two sets. and Matrinez-Castro had a total of 7 aces in the match.
