Volleyball – Girls JV vs Pomfret School – Away

Win 2-1

KO JVVB won a hard fought battle at Pomfret, 2-1 (25-19, 23-25, 15-12). KO came out strong with Sienna DuBois ‘26 on the service line to take a quick 7-0 lead in the first set, which KO never gave up. Scarlett Bourgoin ‘27 had a great game both on the service line (5 points) and defensively, with some amazing saves. Pomfret’s serving proved more challenging in the second game. Although close, KO couldn’t close it out. The third tie-breaker set was an exciting one. KO again took the lead from the start with Bourgoin on the service line. Offensively, both setters, Delphine Lamattina ‘27 and co-captain Julia Sohn ‘25 had kills, Diya Mistri ‘24 and co-captain Els Morris ‘25 had a few blocks and effective hits in the middle. KO was able to close out the match with solid play.
