Volleyball – Girls JV vs Pomfret School – Away

JV Volleyball

Like most Kingswood Oxford teams, KO JVVB traveled to Pomfret on Saturday and won their match 3-0 (25–22, 25–19, and 25–8). The first set was won on a kill from setter Rachael Segal ’28. Serving, from co-captain Sienna Dubois ‘26, with 8 aces, Lidia Martinez-Castro ‘27, who had 9 aces, and Jenna Schwarz ‘28, who served out the final set with 11 points and 3 aces, was a key to the team’s success. Strong offensive play was led by Tara Mahoney ‘27 with 7 kills and aided by co-captain Layla Hall ‘27 at the outside Schwarz and Martinez-Castro in the middle. The team’s record is now 4-1.
