KO JVVB beat Suffield on the road on Wednesday 3-0 (25-18, 25-17, 25-14) to move to a 7-1 record. Strong serving once again was a key component to the team’s success, this time coming from Summer McHugh ’27, who earned 6 consecutive points in the first set and Evelyn Nelson ’28 who remained on the service line for 4 points in the third set, and from co-captain Sienna DuBois ’26 who had 7 aces and Lidia Martinez-Castro ’27 who had 5. Tara Mahoney ’27 led the offense with 8 kills, followed by Camilla Conti ’29 and Martinez-Castro, who each had 4 kills. Racheal Segal had a great day setting, with 19 assists, and made some awesome defensive saves.
