KO JVVB fell to Suffield Academy 1 – 3 (16-25, 29-27, 14-25, 14-25). KO’s offense was helped by strong hitting from Danica De Dios ’27 from the outside and Diya Mistri ‘ 24 in the middle and consistent passing from Scarlett Bourgoin ’27 as libero. The second set was exciting, as the lead went back and forth, with lots of long rallies and some amazing saves. The strong serving of Lidia Martinez-Castro ’27 under pressure was enough to close it out. Unfortunately, KO couldn’t put together enough consecutive points to change the momentum in the final two sets, despite a strong start on the service line from Sienna DuBois ‘ 26 in the final set.
