Volleyball – Girls JV vs Worcester Academy – Away

KO JVVB notched another win on the road against Worcester Academy, 3-0 (25-17, 25-13, 25-14). KO was able to dominate the match with strong serving and effective offensive play. Of note, co-captain Sienna DuBois ’26 was a dynamic serving force, with 10 aces, followed by Jahnvi Modi ’29 with 4 aces, and Zil Desai ’27, Tara Mahoney ’27, and co-captain Layla Hall ‘ 27 each with 3 aces. Offensively, Mahoney led the team with an impressive 12 kills, supported by Lidia Martinez-Castro ’27 with 5 kills, Modi with 4, Hall with 3 and Aniajah Sanchez ’28 with 2 kills. All of this offense would not have been possible without the strong setting of Racheal Segal ’28 who had 12 assists and Modi who garnered 3 assists. The team has a 5-1 record as they head into Hewett Day weekend, with their Dig Pink game on Friday night.
