Girls in Sports Day
National Girls and Women in Sports Day Began in 1987 as a day to remember Olympic volleyball player Flo Hyman for her athletic achievements and her work to assure equality for women’s sports. NGWSD celebrates past and current sports achievements.
When: Saturday, February 1Ā
Where: Kingswood Oxford Hoffman Field House
Who: Girls in grades 4-8
Details: Arrive dressed to actively participate in three different activities. KO will provide equipment but participants are allowed to bring their own stick, racket, or glove. Please bring a water bottle. Everyone will receive a free t-shirt.
