In its closest game of the season, KO fought hard against Har-Bur, but fell just short. Devin Wolff ’23 pitched a gem on Form 2 day, going five strong innings and giving up no earned runs. He also struck out 7 batters. Rayyan Haider ’24 came in to relieve Devin, and despite some early control issues, he only allowed 1 run. These performances made a big difference in keeping the game close. KO’s bats were quiet for most of the game, until the last inning, when James Livingstone ’24 scored on an infield hit by Jack Decker’23. Even though the Wyverns did not get over the edge, they put up a valiant effort. The team’s last game of the season is next Wednesday against Hopkins, where we hope to go out with a win.
