Even though the Wyverns were behind to start the game they battled every second and going into halftime, only down by six points. Coming out into the third quarter, KO applied full court pressure and got the deficit to three points but Pomfret hit some key three pointers and it was challenging to come back from that. KO got strong performances from Angelina Maselli ’20 with 14 points and Natalia Correa ’22 with nine points. Emily Knowles ’25 contributed seven points and five assists. Lindsay Bailey ’22 and Jordan Dimauro ‘23 had five and four points for the Wyverns. Also, others who contributed offensively were Kyra Dunnirvine ’23 and Kameryn Perry ’23 each with a basket along with Molly Jones ‘20 who added a free throw and Kathryn Westrick ’20 who brought down five rebounds and added a free throw too. The Wyverns will be on the road heading to Kent on Saturday, February 15, 2020 with the tip off at 1:30pm.
