Loss 3-6 (10)
For the third time in two weeks KO faced off against Marianapolis Prep this time on the turf at KO. The venue change however did not affect the pitch by pitch, play by play innings by inning battle these teams experienced just two weeks ago. And while they were not scheduled to play another double header today, the team battled each other tough, and two of the top teams in Class B put on a show for the large socially distanced crowd. After a fast start 1st inning which saw KO take a 2-1 runs were hard to come by for both teams as pitching took over, and defense tightened up. Marianapolis tied the game in the 3rd inning, and took a 1 run lead in the 4th. As the later innings arrived, and KO trailing 3-2 Niahm Foley 25' lead off the bottom of the sixth inning with a game tying HR. With a scoreless 7th, fitting these teams head to 3 innings of international tie breaker (in each inning the batting team starts with a runner on 2nd base) After a scoreless 8, a quick 9th, Marionapolis scored 3 in the top of the 10th and held on in the bottom half to take the win.
