Win 6-1
On Friday, Season Gilland ’22 led the Wyverns to a 6-1 win over the Greenwich
Country Day School Tigers. Sean would score 3 goals for the hat trick and an assist
to lead Wyvern Scorers. Nico Bromley ’25 would tally 3 assists in the game and
showing dominance in the Face off circle winning 20 of his 27 draws. Austin
Perkins ’26, and Bodie Swanson ’25 also tallied goals for KO. Assists would also
tallied by Ben Margolis ’23 and Lindsay Stepnowski ’26 . Cody Brew ’23 would
tally the most unusual goal of the game. With 5.6 seconds left in the 2 nd period and a
face off in the KO end, GCDS pulled their goalie to add a 6 th attacker to finish the
period. A heads up play by Bromley ‘25 on the face off and Brew ’23 would prove
the GCDS decision to be a bad one. Bromley ‘25 would win the draw to Brew ’23 ,
who then sent the puck the length of the ice into the GCDS net before time ran out.
Matt Cote would notch the Win between pipes and also tallied an assist on the 3 rd
Gilland ’22 goal to get into the scoring
KO would go on to win the game 6-1
