The girls won almost every Individual event and won 2 out of the three relays. Many of the girls stepped up including Lily Liu who came in 1st in her debut of the 100-yard breaststroke. In the Girls’ 200-yard Medley Relay, Allie Wildstein (‘22), Ahana Nagarkatti (‘21), Risha Ranjan (‘21) and Maggie Dwyer (‘23) placed first with a finishing time 2:11.91. Ranjan took first in the 200-yard Free, going 2:21.96 and Winstein place first in the 200 IM in 2:31.50. Dwyer came in first in the 50 yard Free in a time of 28.41 and Helen Lu(‘19) and Jane Jiang(‘21) came in 5th and 6th respectively. In a close race, Dwyer came in second in the 100 Fly in a time of 1:11.33. Nagarkatti, Lily Liu (‘22), and Liang had a great 100 Free coming in 1st, 5th, and 6th. Wildstein and Ranjan destroyed the 500 Free coming in 1st and 2nd. At this point in the meet, the coaches and swimmers were very excited going into the last three events of the day. Nagarkatti had an outstanding 100 backstroke coming in at a time of 1:09.07. In a very important race, Liu and Lu swam some of their best breaststrokes all season coming in 1st and 3rd to help the team earn some valuable points. For the last event of the day, Wildstein, Ranjan, Nagarkatti, and Dwyer swam an awesome 400 Free Relay in a time of 4:11.74 coming in 1st once again. It was definitely the most exciting meet of the season so far! The girls carried themselves very well and really showed up to compete! Well done, Ladies!
