KO Alumni Spotlight: Jared Jordan ’03 Joins Boston College Men’s Basketball Staff
Kingswood Oxford is proud to congratulate alumnus Jared Jordan ’03 on being named Director of Player Development for the Boston College men’s basketball program.
Jordan, a 2003 graduate of Kingswood Oxford, went on to enjoy an outstanding collegiate career at Marist College. During his time with the Red Foxes, he established himself as one of the nation’s premier point guards, leading the NCAA in assists in back-to-back seasons. He was also recognized as an AP Honorable Mention All-American and earned the Haggerty Award during his senior year.
Following his collegiate career, Jordan was selected by the Los Angeles Clippers with the 45th overall pick in the 2007 NBA Draft. He then built a highly successful 13-year professional career overseas, playing in Germany, Greece, Romania, and Spain. During his time in Germany, he led the Bundesliga in assists multiple times and finished his career as the league’s all-time assists leader.
Now, Jordan begins the next chapter of his basketball career at Boston College, where he will work closely with the Eagles’ players and staff in the area of player development.
Jared has also remained connected to Kingswood Oxford over the years and has helped out with the basketball program from time to time. We are grateful for that continued connection and proud to see another KO alumnus making an impact at the collegiate level.
Congratulations, Jared. We look forward to following your success at Boston College.
