Student Participates in CT Regional Spelling bee
On March 8, 2026, Stephanie Reale, a Form 2 student, represented Kingswood Oxford at the Connecticut Regional Spelling Bee, which is part of the National Scripps Spelling Bee.

While Stephanie did not place, she paved the way for more students to compete in the School and Regional Bees in the future.
The Spelling Bee was a Skills Incubator Course this winter session.
Stephanie was supported at the Regional Bee with her parents and our official judge from Kingswood Oxford, Dr. Dan Gleason.
Stephanie’s word, which got her out, was “woebegone,” an adjective meaning “sad” or “miserable” in appearance.
We are so proud of Stephanie and all she has accomplished!
