Harry E. Goldfarb Speakers Series



The Harry E. Goldfarb Speaker Series brings science, math, and technology leaders to campus to:


  • Inspire students to consider careers in science and medical careers

  • Instill collaborative teaching and research among science, math, and technology faculty


Since its inception in 2008, the Goldfarb Speaker Series has welcomed innovators from a variety of industries โ€” many of whom are Kingswood Oxford graduates โ€” including:


  • Marc Shafer ’75, P ’08, ’15, ’17, Trustee, President of Dawn Enterprises

  • John McNary ’80, Founder of Nassal Company

  • Henry DePhillips, M.D. ’78, Executive vice president and chief medical officer of Audax Health

  • Jerrold Rosenbaum โ€™65, Chief of Psychiatry at Massachusetts General Hospital, Stanley Cobb Professor of Psychiatry at Harvard Medical School, President and Executive Director of MGH Mood and Anxiety Disorders Institute (MADI)

  • Christina Kim, M.D., Pediatric urologic surgeon

  • David Quick ’92, Consultant Software Engineer at EMC Corporation

  • Janet Krevolin ’80, Chief Technology Officer, Bio2 Technologies, Professor of Biomedical Engineering, Tufts University


The Goldfarb Speaker Series was created by alumnus William H. Goldfarb โ€™64 and his brother, Robert B. Goldfarb, to honor their late father, Harry E. Goldfarb.
