Basketball – Girls MS B vs Renbrook School – Away

MS B Girls Basketball

Our final match of the season showcased all our improvement and connection as a team. Each player gave it their all; we played as a team, moved the ball well, helped on defense, and trusted each other on the court. On the bench, positive coaching between players occurred and enthusiasm for each play and shot were heard by the fans. The Needham sisters were on fire with Charlotte ‘29 scoring 8 points and Cate ‘30 adding another 7 to the total. Caroline Sams ‘29 and Cate Needham ‘30 played point and offensively moved the ball up the court against some tough and rugged defenders keeping their cool and allowing our offense to be a threat. Lilly Evans ‘29 was aggressive on the boards and used her softball arm and accuracy to outlet the ball to create many fast break lay-ups. The other members of the team showed such improvement against a scrappy and aggressive team and were able to be a threat on the court; shooting, defending and keeping their composure. It has been a pleasure to coach this group of girls; they are fun to practice with, have improved their skills and knowledge of the game, and were strong athletes and good KO representatives on game days. I am proud of all that they have accomplished.
