Wyvern Athletics is dedicated to fostering excellence in athletics while upholding KO’s educational mission. We meet student-athletes at their unique skill levels and individual needs, providing a challenging environment for growth in both team and individual sports.

Wyvern Athletics nurtures the whole student—academically, socially, emotionally, and physically—through thoughtful preparation and planning that spans the school day and athletic seasons. Our focus is on creating opportunities for every student-athlete to develop skills through personalized coaching, peer collaboration, and competitive play. While winning is not our sole objective, pursuing personal and collective excellence naturally leads to success.Â

What a Difference a Team Makes
Business leaders and others attribute much of their success to the lessons learned on the court and on the field. Sports can instill a sense of hard work, responsibility, discipline, collaboration, and problem-solving. They also teach valuable lessons in humility so players learn to win or lose graciously. When you are part of a team, you recognize how each player contributes to the greater good, building a deep sense of community, respect, and trust.

With 37 Upper School teams, 17 Middle School teams, 25 varsity teams, including esports, intramural, interscholastic, and co-ed, there’s a place for everyone, regardless of their level of play.
