Upper School Schedule - Kingswood Oxford

Upper School Schedule

A Well-Balanced Schedule for a Productive & Healthy Life

Academics, athletics, club participation, community service — Kingswood Oxford students lead active lives! The Upper School schedule is designed with this in mind. It provides longer classes, a rotating schedule, and embedded free time so students can learn at a healthy pace and meet their needs.

HERE ARE SOME HIGHLIGHTS

  • Our rotating schedule means that our students have a fresh schedule each week.

  • There are five classes daily.

  • Longer classes for in-depth learning

  • Advisors check in with their advisees daily to make sure they are on track and provide the student with academic, co-curricular, or social/emotional support. By connecting each day, we stay responsive to each student’s needs.

  • Tuesday all-school assembly builds community and connections

  • Co-curricular activities are embedded into the daily program during the school day “Community Time” to provide stress relief and relaxation as well as help students broaden their horizons. Students use this time to organize games and friendly competitions as well as see teachers for any additional support they might need.
